Press release: Opening of the BIH Spatial Diagnostics Platform: LIMAA Technologies as Part of a Groundbreaking Consortium

Last Friday, the BIH Spatial Diagnostics Platform was officially inaugurated at the Berlin Institute of Health at Charité (BIH) – a milestone for personalized cancer diagnostics in Germany. As part of the industry consortium, LIMAA Technologies joined partners including Roche Diagnostics, ZEISS, Bruker Daltonics, Hamilton, and RoX Health at the opening ceremony.
The new platform combines high-resolution 3D light microscopy, spatial genomics and proteomics, and AI-powered analysis in a largely automated workflow. Its goal is to reduce the time from biopsy to therapy recommendation in oncology from the current one to three weeks to just a few hours.
As a Charité and BIH spin-off, supported in its pre-launch phase by the BIH Digital Health Accelerator, LIMAA Technologies provides the integrated, automated workflow from tissue to diagnostic information – resulting in more insights, less manual work and one complete workflow.
